Comingling finances

Hello everyone!!

My future hubby and I started our comingling of finances today and we are finding that in Brazil when you add yourself to someone's account they remain as a primary owner of the account. The problem with this is that I will not be on the statement as a co-owner. He added me to his bank account and a store card account. I have cards for both with the account number and my name and he has the same. Should I just use the statement with his name and a copy of the store card and debit card with my name and the account number? I can highlight the account numbers to show they are all the same.

Should I also write a letter explaining Brazil's practice when adding a person to an old account? Any other ideas?

Any Brazilian's run into this also?

Thanks!!

Brazil practices are not USA practices.. and dont need to worry about your name/his name not showing on the statement. I added my wife to my accounts as well and I was the only one showing in the statements but during package preparation I showed both of our cards [copy] as evidence.. same thing with CC and Bank Accounts..

I did the same. I sent a copy of both of our debit cards. It worked . I also asked our bank account manager to write a letter to us.
