Hello VJ family members

Starting the AOS process, I intend to complete the form I-765 and I-131 together with my I-485 in order to avoid more fees doing those 2 later.

I'm in California and I-485 has to be sent at Chicago mailbox.

Can I also attach the I-765 and I-131 to my sending or, as I've seen it somewhere, those 2 other forms have to be sent to USCIS Phoenix Lockbox ????

Thanks for sharing your experience with me.

Take care and God bless

**Moved from K1 to AOS from family visas; as the poster is at that stage.

I suggest you read the VJ AOS from K1 guide first http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos and then move to Vanessa's guide for detailed information http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/235331-aos-ead-ap-from-k1-the-aussie-way-doc-list-included/

I made a checklist you might benefit from and it's located here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/388987-aos-ead-ap-checklist/page__p__5687165#entry5687165

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Mail them all together in one envelope to the Chicago lockbox address.

Also, the fees for the forms are still waived if you file for them after filing your I-485. You would just need to send a copy of your receipt notice from your I-485. It is just easier to send them all at once because they all go to the same place and it gets the ball rolling on them being approved and you receiving your EAD/AP while waiting for your green card approval.

Hola,

Send all three forms (485/765/131) together in one large envelope and you are done. I'd strongly recommend you to use 2 services of USPS;

1- Certified Mail

2- Request return receipt

You will be able to track your package and also get a receipt stamped sent back home to you.

Suc6!
