Interview experience @ columbus,OH USCIS office

We reached there 45 mts early. Then right on time a white man in his 40's asked me come 1st. He was very polite and asked all general questions .Then he asked me to sit outside and called my wife(USC).Asked her similar questions like where do we met, who came to my marriage etc. Finally he gave her a sheet stating that he going to recommend my GC. And told her that everything looks good and he will just recheck all the documents and medical report with his supervisor and asked her to wait for 2-5 days for update.

Should I take it as positive interview??

And here is my Columbus office experience to enrich shranjan's thread

Following the recommendations, we were there 40 min earlier than our 1:45pm appointment. We were not called until 15 min later than our appointment, though that office is very empty. (interesting thing, 3 people came without infopass appointment, they told them they don't take walk ins, but they had a machine in the corner that would check if there was an available spot. All of them were scheduled immediately into infopass)

Anyway, back to interview. We were watching tv news in the waiting room about elections and talking to the security guard when we were called by a woman officer in her 50's. She asked if we were talking to someone, we said who and what and she started talking about it on the way to her office. That made me have a good first impression. she was smiling and friendly

She said she would start with USC husband and asked:

Name, place & date of birth, of marriage, address, phone, his work, basically just checking that all info in biographical form was correct.

Then if he had previous marriages, divorce, children, applied for anyone's residence before. No, no, no, no. Asked me the same.

Then where/how did we meet. He said, mutual friends at a bar we both frequent. And she said oh yes, and the name of the bar. I was first surprised she knew, then she said: you documented very well the relationship, from your photos, I figured that was the bar.

Then she went with me: same questions from bio form. First question about my name. I said different name I have used is in the US, I added a hyphen between my last names, because it was being confused with middle and last name. Then she said: you green card is approved but it probably wont have the hyphen. (I was like... ok! )

When she got to citizenship, I clarified I had 2 citizenships, french and mexican, that I didn't stated in the package, and I showed her, and she added: which one do you want in your green card? I said mexican is fine since I entered from mexico as student

Then she asked all the questions from 465: have you trafficked drugs, political partys, etc...

Then asked if I wanted to add anything to my package, though she had everything she needed. I gave her a pack of updated bills, pay stubs*, photos, flight tickets. She asked when were we leaving (I said in 30 days) and said she hoped we would have it on time, that it was taking about 2 weeks, if we got close to the date and still haven't got anything, make an infopass. But she would immediately enter the approval in the computer to start production of card. Then printed a sheet with approval recommendation checked and explained ROC and naturalization process.

Interview lasted less than 25 min.

(*about paystubs, I told her I used a joint sponsor because I didn't know if my income would count since I was hired during OPT (with F1 student visa) so I brought pay stubs for husband, me and joint sponsor. She said we were already approved so no worries, abd we were approved with my income, so if I wanted to add his & mine to the pack, I could.)

got the approval text a couple hours later.
