Hello to you all!

I'm new to this forum but have already read some really helpful stuff and there are so many exciting stories and things going on here!

So my question... I am planning to marry my fiancé ASAP! We do have a big wedding planned for July 2013 but we can't stand to be away from each other anymore.

We have known each other for nearly 7 years and been together for 6 and a half. Flying back and forth from London to Philly is now more than a pain we just want to be together. We have decided to have an eerily quiet marrege in her home town ASAP but we have been told that it is ok for me to stay on the visa waver while our k3 papers are being processed....

Is this true? How much trouble can I get in if I was to this? I won't be working as I can't with out the visa and work papers.

Would I be OK to stay as its way to hard for me to leave once I'm married!

I'd be so happy if someone can help me answer this!

Thanks in advance

Steve :)

The USC would petition for the spouse (from your post it is unclear whether YOU are the USC or the beneficiary)

Follow the guides

http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

The beneficiary must leave the US (if that is where the marriage occurs) and complete the process abroad. There will be separation time in there

Good luck

depends, really, on who said it to you.

In the end, you must understand the difference between filing for an adjustment of status

vs

pursuing a visa.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
