Good luck and hang in there a little while longer! Don't underestimate a congressman's help when you are outside the processing times. They do represent us, and some are very good at what they do. Reluctance to ask won't do anything though. Also Mick_n_Leila, your timeline states "Texas Service Center". You can change this to Vermont by editing your timeline and get/contribute a more relevant estimate in waiting. :)

I so agree! I sent a letter and they are inquiring for me.. Instead of me just ranting33va.gif now I can actually do something! yes.gif

To the OP- I feel your pain- we all do! Anytime away from the person you love is very difficult.. Find things to keep you occupied in the meantime. I always suggest getting things ready in anticipation of her arrival, etc.. The simplest things turn my days around.. I purchased a Christmas stocking for him this weekend and it felt great to think this might almost be over! I already did everything for the NOA2 on my end.. I also did the whole paint the house, clean the closets/garage, declutter routine and I'm still doing that now. Keeps me focused on the future. Hang in there and don't lose sight of why you are doing this in the first place! GL!!

You may be right about the congressman and thanks for the advice. Are you familiar with how a person goes about contacting their congressman? Just never have had any reason to even consider it LOL so if you have any info / tips it would be appreciated.

hi and yes you can contact them at

the us government web find your district first and send email to your rep., mine wrote me back way before uscis announced about the six month

to give me that info, he also told me if by the sixth month i did not herd from them to contact hjm that he will do the follow

up

You're welcome! Yep, after 6 months is up, you have very good reason to be concerned. Thanks for the congrats! We are more than excited of course. I just received the NOA2 letter today. That was actually fast. Less than a week!

WOW 4 MONTHS AND YOUR COMPLAINING? Try waiting 18 like my wife and I did. Then you can complain! Start to worry after a year!

Just search a congressman or senator on your place, tell them your situation and they will response as soon as you email them and will ask you some of the info so they can help you,

Don't bother Senators and Congressmen for trivial things. You're not out of the timeline until 6 Months PLUS 1!

Don't bother Senators and Congressmen for trivial things. You're not out of the timeline until 6 Months PLUS 1!

Holy Moly!!!!......18 months!!!!......very very sorry to hear that.....we're just thinking WHY the difference in processing time between Cali and Vermont....it takes good management to share production workload....if the processing was contracted out to private companies, I believe the timeline would be much quicker and proficient.

Hello! :) just wanted to say hi. Im currently in the US (for a visit$ and will be back in Manila next next week. We are also waiting for ours to be processed. Just hope that everything works out fine for everyone!

I called the USCIS this morning and they said they are approving March Filers. I know it's a lie.

well, maybe it is......but on Igor's list, it shows that April is being worked on now and some of May.......... http://www.visajourn...tion=2&sortby=2
