Speaking of race related presidents.... Colin Powell would have been a winner imo.

As would Condi Rice, but both Powell and Rice were steamrolled by the GOP. In fact, Rice should have been the natural choice for VP in the 2008 ticket because she was a WH insider and would have added a ton of foreign policy experience to McCain's ticket. That might have been a ticket to give the GOP a real chance to win the elections. However, McCain caved under pressure of the TBs and nominated Palin... and the rest is history...

It seems just like parrots you always love the person not running... when they look like they might take power.... suddenly you find a flaw.

I recall when John McCain was the guy the whole country could get behind..... for some reason when he got nominated no one on the left, right or middle had any interest..... until Palin got on board.

We heard the same thing about romney... he was the more reasonable guy, the one Libs told us they actually liked..... until he got nominated, then the talking points came out and Mit wants to drag us back to the stone age.

Once Obama is re-elected we'll naturally switch back to a republican (because the democrats messed everything up) and another black man (who's all the way black this time) will be easier for the country to stomach. It's not hard to elect a black man once you've already kind of elected a black man.

Next we'll have a woman. Probably a white woman since we have to start over with the race thing. Then we'll get the first African-American woman as president.

Someday America is going to figure out we're all Americans and not hyphenated somethings. I think Allen West will do a great deal to change that. It will be a lot easier for black people to stomach the message he will feed them. You know, the one Obama was supposed to give but decided instead to give out free cell phones?

Cleaning up the country is tough work. It's going to take a tough man to do the job. Allen West is that man.
