Wife not on list when she went to get her visa

My wife had her Visa interview last week, Tue 9 Oct. She was told to come back on Thurs, 11 Oct to pick up her visa and she she arrived at the Embassy, she was not on the list. She tried to call the consulate to no avail. I tried to call on Friday from the states but the immigration section only takes calls on Monday and Wed. I sent an email and there was no response. Now she is very upset and I already made airline reservations for Wed, 17 Oct. Looks like she may not make it on that flight. Any suggestions???
