I see lots of folks saying there touch. I created a account and sign in to check my status but have never been touched. Case still shows the date they received the information sent.. Want to be touched so bad sent my I-130 8/8/11 never touch until RFE sent that info back touch on 8/31 status updated to evidence review on 8/31.. Still waiting desperately to be touched!! I want to be touch in more than just the USCIS..Need to be touched by my hubby>>haha

Generally, most people will only experience two touches. Sad, I know. We could all use so much more touch during this process. However, the first touch will happen around the date your petition is received at the USCIS. This is when they scan it and put it in a storage box not to be seen or touched again for months on end.

What you have to realize is that the processing of these petitions take about 15 - 20 minutes in most cases. The 3 - 7 months people wait for an NOA2 isn't the actual processing time, it's the time it takes from your petition is received at the service center until someone actually has the time to take it out of a storage box and look at it. Thus, your second touch will normally be a few days before the infamous NOA2.

My status is weird a bit too...I've got the biometrics appointment quick, got the EAD fast, but on the I-130 and I-485 the "last update" is basically the date when they cashed my checks....why they don't want to touch my beautiful package? It is soooooooooooooooooooooooo pretty...:)
