Please i need to know something.. in the proof of our relationship from the time of my proposal to my fiancee which is december 24 .. we have been address each other husband and wife both in the mails and in the chat logs as well and i want to know if this is no red flag or something or it is explainable to the consulate or what should i do .. please enlight me...

STOP THAT, immediately. You may have mucked it up too bad already.....prepare for a possible denial of the visa and begin to read up on the CR-1.

Because this is Lagos they may think you are already married deny and tell you to go and get married. Hopefully they will let you explain I doubt it or they may not even care. Just be ready. They may ask did u have traditional wedding, did ur fiance' pay a dowry all kinds of things. So be ready for why you are calling each other this.

I know with Nigerian men it really is normal my husband was calling me wife and wifey long before we were married.

What about the name for the emails.. that it really matters what name you use for emails...
