So what is the correct way of informing NVC that we will no longer follow CR1 path after she is here on K3?

What happenes after we let NVC know of this? Can someone please give details of this? Thanks.

Why not just call them and tell them ?

Just submit your AOS, I would think that when you include your NOA2 from your I130 to adjust your status that they would check into eligiblility etc.

I didnt know that a K3 had to let NVC know that they were not continueing with the CR1?? I just went ahead and filed my AOS .. no RFE yet...

You don't have to do anything beyond submitting the AOS documents, NVC will soon get the message :)

Seriously, they don't need to be informed so you won't get an RFE for not letting them know before you submit your AOS docs.

Good luck with your adjustment process.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Just in case, We sent a letter to NVC to let them know that I'd applied for AOS to the Charlotte office. I think we sent it when we got whatever it is NVC sends you first after approval.

I sent them an email and also called them. When I called, the person told me to send email notifying them that you want to proceed with AOS in US instead of pursuing your CR1 back home. I think calling them is the best way to go, then you just see what they say.

ae4ever,

Provide the information on your form DS-3032. Or have you submitted that to the NVC already?
