People with experiences in the Los Angeles POE please can you share your experience with me? I have looked through the reviews but don't see much of people with CR-1 visa, mostly K-1.

August 25, 2014: NOA1 received

September 5, 2014: Received Biometrics Appointment Letter

I've seen the same as you. My husband will be coming in through LAX later this month. I don't think the process will be much different from K-1, other than I have heard there is some additional processing that happens at the POE for CR-1 visas, so it might take a little longer...but the reviews for LAX look pretty painless so I'm not too worried.

When is your coming home?? :)

My husband's interview is Monday morning first thing, so it'll be Sunday in the middle of the night for me! We'll be booking his flight as soon as we have our visa in hand as well :)

I went through it last Sunday. The line was kinda long, when I got to the window he asked my purpose about coming to the US I said I'm an immigrant he asked for the passport, packet I gave it to him and he took the yellow envelop, gave me back the vaccination record and cd, took a photo of me and biometrics and told me to sit down and wait for me to be called. I waited for an hour or so because they finished all the ones in line first before someone called me up and asked me to sign 2 pages of paper and my fingerprint and waited again another guy called me up gave me back my arrival card and 2 pages of paper w/ my passport & said "u can go pick your luggage, have a good day" he showed me the way to the baggage area. It was smooth I was just nervous because paranoia is my twin :D lol but it all in all a stress free exp. I'm now in SD. Good luck!
