I am a petitioner for my husband and also his sponsor. PD -JUN 21,2010 .F2A. Since i have been in the USA for four years , i move to two different residents within the same state and same city but i never chnage my address with USCIS. I submitted Form i-864 for my husband over a year ago while i was living at my second resident. When my case was completed in May ,2011, i was send a checklist of missing documents that my husband will need to summit at the time of his interview. Iam currently at my third resident.

My question is do i need to submit a new AOS with my current address and updated information or i just submit what NVC requires.

Also will my address be a issue in this case?

PS. My husband interview iis on 1st November 2012 @7:00am

Please help anyone

If your address has changed, then you'll need to notify USCIS. Here's the form; http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/ar-11.pdf

I'd probably go ahead and give USCIS a call as well and notify them verbally of change of address. Then call back and ask if they have your updated address on file.

It's required that you update this info when being a sponsor(it's listed on the instructions), and it's needed if you're the immigrant.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days

hi everyone!! i am doing research on everything as i wait for NOA2, I have a few questions regarding form I-864. I am a canadian citizen, my hubs is US citizen. He moved here 2001 in which we were married 2002. he is a legal can. perm. resident. We are looking to move to California where he is from.I understand he needs to file his taxes and waiting to hear from an accountant to get that done. He hasn't lived in the US since he left and so i know we have to show domicile in the US.

his uncle has stated he would like us to move in with him until we get things in order (once process is approved). Seeing as my husband has not made income in the US, would his uncle be a co-sponsor? He would need to provide his tax info as well, correct? his uncle owns a house, 2 vehicles, would these be assets? His uncle was recently discharged from US military and his wife was a stay @home mom. Is he going to pass a co-sponsor? i just want to make sure I am on the right track as I found this doc/form very confusing, lol. Thanks for any advice!
