We sent IV packet (ds230) and supporting documents to nvc, they received them on 2nd Oct 2012.

Today we got a email chdcklist asking us to send the IV documemts. ####### is going on? Did they lose the IV documents which were delivered to them on the 2nd ?

We're not sure how to respond to this? Any suggestions?

I'm assuming this letter from them was definitely posted not emailed to you? If posted I would advise you check the date on the letter you received and you ll probably see a date before or slightly after the 2nd of October, your IV package probably bi-passed their letter. Did you pay to have your IV package tracked / traced? I think a call to NVC if only to check it arrived would offer you reassurance.

To give you a little consolation though I sent my DS3032 to the NVC via courier on the 17th of September, tracked it's arrival to them on the 27th of September, (as in my Courier provider said its consignment note was signed by an NVC employee on that date) and yet the NVC didn't scan into their system till the 3rd of October. It took an additional 7 days before they sent notification to my email that they had "actioned" my DS3032 and sent me an email advising the next step in my process. I was told verbally between the 27th Sept and 3rd of Oct, that I should send another form to them as they hadn't received the first. Which I promptly did. A step that was entirely unnecessary.

MORAL of the story: don't panic I'm sure they have received the stuff you sent them. It's a bit of a Mickey Mouse operation at the best of times and reality dictates that it's been 10 days from when you sent the IV stuff and getting this letter which at least from my experience is not actually unusual. Call them to get clarity they may have info that supersedes that letter you received.

Goodluck

This is the fake checklist, call NVC they will probably say that your case has been completed.

Call them up to be sure, but it's most likely they reviewed your AOS package and accepted it. NVC quite often generates a false checklist requesting for the other package when they review a package and accept it.

This is great news! You're one step closer to a case complete (I'm thinking next week for you, as long as your IV package is fine) :)

Hi Saylin, thanks. Yes i wanted to call NVC before they close today but instead decided to talk to my better-half. Its cool , like you said we might have another good news next week. It has taken more then a year to reach this stage. But we kinda wanted it that way. Its weird caus we keep thinking something will go wrong or has gone wrong but it always turns out ok. Life is full of surprises, hopefully we will get some good ones in the coming days. Thanks to you and everybody else.:)
