lmao! u just cracked me up with the squeezedevil.gif

I wouldve taken the e-request.. I am k1 but when I called she offered me no help other than "wait 90 days"... ranting33va.gif

He should try calling back and request the e-request.. its better than nothing.

Dont know what it would do at this point since all we can do is wait. Worth a try though.

In my experience, an e-request does not speed up a response. It's just a way for NCSC to ask Vermont Service Center for a status update. A status update usually reads exactly as the website will read when you check the status there. "We sent you an NOA1 on such and such date and we are currently processing petitions for "a date prior to yours". Your request will be processed in normal processing times."

So, you do all this work just to find out it is the same answer as the person on the telephone gave you. It can't hurt, maybe you'll get somewhere, but at the same time, don't expect anything big because you might be disappointed.

I am assuming you called NCSC? If you did call VSC, what's their number?

I am the USC.

My PD is 4.24. I called several times after my 5 month and asked for a service request, every time I got "we're still working on early april, you have to wait until your PD has passed to submit a service request". Your husband got lucky that they even offered a service request. I will agree with your husband, there are many April PD that are still untouched at VSC, a service request now may give you a letter that says the same as what the CS rep said, who knows, i'm a newbie to this process.

Just called USCIS after my 5 months waiting time and a customer svc rep told me that VSC is still working on I-130 of IR-1 and IR-2 NOA-1 as APRIL 09 2012.

I guess my NOA-2 aproval notice will hit the 6 months+ waiting period. She told me to keep waiting and that probably in two to three weeks i will get my NOA-2....
