Hi Everyone,

I am starting to compile the requiremnts for my change of status from K-1 to "green card" and I am totally confused. I understand that the total filing fee now is $1,070.00. Does it include the fee for the working permit? And can anyone help me where can I find the complete list of requirements for the change of status? Thank you all.

4/18/15- Sent paperwork to California Service Center

4/20/15- USPS tracking: Documents delivered

4/30/15-Chek encashed

5/2/15- Received NOA :)

When filed at the same time as I-485 there is no fee for the EAD. It's already included.

05/22/2012 - MAILED AOS PACKAGE.
06/04/2012 - RECEIVED NOTICE IN THE MAIL.
06/04/2012 - RECEIVED BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT IN THE MAIL.
06/06/2012 - WALK IN BIOMETRICS COMPLETED.
07/11/2012 - TEXT AND EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS OF I-485 INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT.
07/13/2012 - RECEIVED HARD COPY OF INTERVIEW NOTICE IN THE MAIL.
07/28/2012 - EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDER.
08/04/2012 - EAD CARD IN HAND.
08/15/2012 - GC INTERVIEW. APPROVED. PASSPORT STAMPED.
08/20/2012 - GC CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED.
08/23/2012 - GC RECEIVED.

06/28/2014 - MAILED I-751 PACKAGE

07/05/2014 - RECEIVED NOA 1

01/15/2016 - Interviewed and Approved.

08/02/2016 - N400 Interviewed and Approved.

EAD (I-765 temporary work authorization) and AP (I-131 Advance Parole, temporary travel authorization) fees are waived when filed in the same time as AOS. So yes, if you file for AOS, AOS/EAD/AP, AOS/EAD or AP, the total right now is $1,070.

Separate each application with a paperclip for example, but send everything in the same envelope.

- Aug 31st, 2011 - Mailed I-129F package - May 29th, 2012 - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP package

- Apr 13th, 2012 - Visa received - Aug 24th, 2012 - Green Card received

ROC Timeline

- May 19th, 2014 - Mailed ROC package to CSC

- Aug 8th, 2014 - Green Card received

N-400 Timeline

- Dec 29th, 2021 - Filed online. Got notice that biometrics will be reused.

- Now waiting...
