bad reaction between the vaccinations and the TB test.. all clear on that aspect. They asked for an I864A since Thuy was on my taxes last year as if she earned income as well. so she also had to sign an affidavit of support doc... ha...

So funny these guys... here is a blue slip requesting I864a talk with your husband and get it filled out and you can come back after 1 omorrow but we are not working wednesday afternoon so if he does not get it to you for tomorrow you will have to wait until Thursday. There is no service I know of that could deliver the signed document in 24 hours from here to there and they are aware of that. So I signed and scanned and emailed it. She signed it as it was primarily about her signing for her son and they said no we cant accept this. Please have the original signature.so that wll require about 75 bucks and 3 days to get it to her so maybe Friday.if we are lucky. No question about the visa getting approved at this point, its about dodging obstacles they decide to throw at us to delay things. such a big deal about an absurd document. It seems that had I just claimed her as a dependant rather than filing jointly, this would not have happened and they would have been approved already. because she 'filed' taxes, she is considered a breadwinner of sorts even with 0 income.
