I'm happy to say that I am now ignoring all political ads, news reports and the such until election day. I voted this week by absentee ballot so for me its done. I'm so glad I've missed most of the mud slinging and political adverts. I've gotten plenty of coverage here in the UK...without all the stupidity hitting me from all sides

You're blessed there. It's a 2 year grind here. I assume England is the same as Canada. 30-60 days out they start running for the election. Here the minute they are sworn in it's a 4 year campaign. I think we got it wrong here.

Elect the local guy, and then let them pick the president. It's a little f*ucked up when a couple states decide here.

Her Son is a government employee serving in hostile environment, risks are involved when you are in that line of work, it is inherent.

She is owed no hard security data just because she is grieving. The national interest trumps her need to know.

Sometimes my country people make me sick with senses of entitlement.

To OP, thankfully I don't decide my vote based on some Parents emotional situation. I tend to think in larger terms with foresight. Had she said that the administration told her intricate details of CIA investigation then I would not have voted for Obama.

IF the whole episode was so "top secret" ... why is the President talking to Dave letterman on national tv about it?

What we have here is a case of TEAM OBAMA, giving her false information, by telling her the now debunked Youtube video story, long after they had to know it to be false.

Come on people..... there is not a mom-N-Pop corner store that does not have surveillance cameras, do you not think that place was not wired and feeding back to D.C.?
