Hello,

My fiance (US citizen) has been living in Taiwan for about 3 years now. We plan to get married in Indonesia, my home country. I saw the USCIS Bangkok Field Office page and it says that the USCIS Bangkok Field Office has jurisdiction over U.S. immigration benefits for Indonesia & Taiwan.

My question is: does this mean that after we get married we will able to file the I-130 petition in the USCIS Bangkok Field Office? If yes, what happens next? Will they contact the US Embassy in Indonesia and do I have to stay in Indonesia the whole time while the K-3 visa is being processed or can I stay in Taiwan with my spouse after marriage then go back to Indonesia when the petition are accepted & an interview schedule has been established?

Thank you so much for your answer & help!
