The moderator practically begged Ryan for specifics and he gave none. He had a bunch of stories, but no actual facts. I guess this is considered successful.

I think the moderator was the great winner of last night. She did an excellent job in asking the questions, keeping both candidates on track and insisting on specific answers. She really moderated the debate, gave both candidates enough latitude that allowed them to speak their minds without taking over the format.

She should do an encore at the next presidential debate.

She was awesome. She actually kept things fairly on track and changed subjects when needed to instead of just being like "uh, guys? we're running out of time here... okay, continue"

Seemed like a pretty even debate to me. Both sides should be happy with how their candidate did.

Ryan was doing his fair share of interrupting, smirking and eye rolling too.

CNN's polls has it so close (something like 48% to 44%, within the margin of error) so it's a tie, really.

Imagine my surprise that you feel it was even. Perhaps compared to Obama, at least Biden appears tohave a pulse.

Ryan gave facts, numbers, examples...Biden interrupts as says "malarkey". You must be so proud.

But he does, at least, show the symptoms of being human...eyes open, facial expressions, (an actual face, not just the top of a head with the, presumably, face looking at his shoes)movable arms, yeah...he should probably have been the President nominee.

Obama has two more chances to ruin it for Biden.
