Been a while since I've checked in on the good ole RUB forums, but thought I'd stop by and share another VJ milestone. My MIL arrived a couple weeks ago along with her dog. She's acclimated very well so far...she's got a gym membership, has started some ESL classes, and is already drinking diet cokes (with ICE no less!!!) and eating all sorts of American food. Our baby is already quite attached to her and my wife is ecstatic to have her around again! Life is good! Hope everyone here on the RUB forum is also doing well...I'm sure there's a lot of new faces here by now, but hopefully some of the old-timers are still here also.

Wife's visa journey:

03/19/07: Initial mailing of I-129F.

07/07/11: U.S. Citizenship approved and Oath Ceremony!

MIL's visa journey:

07/26/11: Initial mailing of I-130.

05/22/12: Interview passed!

Congratulations on all the changes to your family. There is nothing better than a happy wife because it will all translate to greater happiness for you. Best of luck with your growing family.:dance:

Great! Congratulations! Alla's Mom has started English lessons and we filed for her in May. Hopefully we will hear something end of this year or early next year. No big rush though.
