Now that I have receieved my NOA1 via text, I sat down to look at the 129F packet I had made a copy of, and I just realized one thing: I FORGOT TO PRINT MY NAME AND MY FIANCE'S NAME ON THE G-325A FORM!!!! Where that big outline box is sitting at the bottom of the page. :bonk:

:/ I'm hoping we'll get a very nice person to review my packet and will kindly skip over the fact that I'm blind. I had messed up SO many times that I redid that form like ten times, of course I was gonna forget something.

I hope we don't get an RFE, but who knows. My fiance is in Mexico, and the mail system sucks!

What do you guys think of my mistake? Has anyone ever missed it and still go approved? :help:

Be prepared and, JUST IN CASE, have him make a new one and send it to you now (you date it later).

I agree with this totally.

Also, you're NOT a loser, it could happen to anyone so relax! :innocent:

The worst that will happen is you'll get an RFE which will delay things by a few weeks, so breath a sigh of relief you'll be fine.

You'll learn for next time! It's always handy once you've double and TRIPLE check everything, once it's all binded and ready to send. Give it to TWO other people in your family that haven't been involved in it, and get them to read it over, TWICE. That's was I did and believe me, you start to go crossed-eyed over it all yourself, my brother did that and found SO MANY things I'd completely overlooked!

FYI, for AOS, I completely forgot to include my sponsors birth certificate, which was stated in plain text! :bonk: So these things happen (that's for AOS, not K-1 just in case you were wondering).

Good luck and give yourself a pat on the back, the I-129F is a tough package, you earned it!

Hi xxdreamer,

I wanted to see what box it was that you meant so I checked my copy of the I-129f packet. Sure enough, I'm a loser too. Good news is that someone at Vermont must have been having a very good day (or a very bad day by their supervisors standards) and we were approved anyway without a RFE. Best of luck to you and yours.
