Hi all,

I am self employed, what should I send along with I-864? What kind of documents - proof they need? My business is 6 months old?, got no tax return yet on my company .. ( I have only Personal tax returns for the last 3 years which are very low.. ). My current income as Self Employed is more than enough to meet the poverty limits.

To structure my question and be specific pls read below.

1. Income for last 3 years was very low - would that be a problem?

2. Now I am self employed I own small LLC (6 months old company)

3. My current income is good, what prove I have to send in case i am the owner of the company?

Thank you all, Regards

As self employed person you have to wait for the 2012 tax return to show income.

Getting a joint sponsor is probably going to be your best option. Perhaps your only option.

Thank you, I think this is the safest bet I can make. I'll go with Joint sponsor.
