Case completed at the NVC... Now what?

Between the time where my case gets completed at the NVC, and they send it over to the consulate, is there anything I need to do?

Or do I just wait for the consulate to contact me with an interview date?

(I know I'm posting in the correct forum, but just to be clear, this is for a CR-1 visa).

08/24/2012: DS-3032 sent (10 minutes after Case Number received ;) )

09/05/2012: DS-3032 accepted (via email although NVC later said they never received ?!?)

09/05/2012: Got the pre-invoicing error: "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."

09/06/2012: AOS Bill paid

09/07/2012: AOS Bill Status Changed to "PAID"

09/10/2012: AOS Package sent

09/12/2012: Sent hardcopy of DS-3032

09/24/2012: IV Bill Invoiced

I called NVC every couple of days or so to check to see if the interview date was scheduled. I ended up getting confirmation from NVC over the phone a day or two before the email came in. There isn't anything you need to do except wait for that date! Once you get it, you can schedule your medical appointment. Good luck...you're almost done!! :)

07/10: Met online, began exchanging emails, texts, and Skype
10/22/10: First time meeting in person!

03/17/12: Officially engaged in London!!

I-130 (IR-1/CR-1 Visa) Journey:

04/14/12: Married in front of the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada!!
04/23/12: Mailed I-130 to Phoenix, AZ Lockbox

Not certain you have to wait for your medical. I had mine done prior to case completion. Just need any document with your case number and name on it. I used one of the originals we received from USCIS.

Hi, anything new for your interview/medical appoinment? I was notified NVC case closed today, so I also have same concern because I was told that they only schedule after November 15th :bonk: , I'm super anxious to know. Any comment will be highly appreciate it.
