First rule to an interview, you should always have a zerox copy of everything that has already been submitted to USCIS and NVC. You donot need to bring update paystubs if thisis a CR1 visa.

Second, you must bring evidence to support that this has been an on going married, ie, copy of passport to show all entrance to Jamaica durning the term of the marriage, copies of phone log to show communcation, or chat logs. If there are pictures to be shown those should be brought aswell.

Third, the beneficiary passsport must have a valid six months left on it.

It's been a month since his interview today 10/11. The embassy called on 9/18 and told him to report back to do his fingerprints. He returned on 9/20 and the co told him it would be in the mail the next day. Here we are 10/11. I'm so depressed. I just hope it happens soon. I'm going to visit next week. So you think it's a good idea to ask the embassy for a interview?

A interview forwhat, didn't he already have his interview on 9/11? His fingerprints were re-done on 9/20,so they are still doing AP process. Send them an email and ask for an update.

Im not really sure why its taking so long for ap processing. If they say that they have all the information they need, why is it a month later? I thought that maybe they didnt think that the marriage was valid, so an interview with me would allow them the chance to get a feel of both of us. Ive sent emails. They say the same thing. "We will let you know once it had cleared" thats not saying anything.

I called DOS today and they told me that everything was in. That they received some pictures that I sent in but it was still undergoing AP. I asked her if she was able to say why, but she wasnt. She said that she didnt know why my case was under administrative processing. I asked her what was the time frame that a case stayed on ap, and she said there was none. That sucks!!
