I sympathise with you.

I know it is extremely difficult since I am in it as well. Try not to dwell on it too much.

At least you can talk about it here.

How did the passport work out? Did you decide to go with the old one and take in the new one later?

Sweetieone,

Did you contact NVC back, what has the sup said?

Second everyone goes through these emotions, you have to be the striong one, because there is nothing he can do but wait.

Third, your problem is not that hard, you could be dealing with the fact that there is no way your husband could migrate, there are folks who are dealing with this issue.

Fourth, you can visit your husband anytime, even if it's a long weekend. Airfare to Ja is reasonable, think about those who has to pay $3000 per roundtrip flight.

Take it from me, this is the easy part. The hard part doesn't begin until he arrives. We have been married 5.5 years. Marriage requires alot of work.

Hell immigration was a breeze, married to a Jamaican makes you wants to scream. LOL, but it's worth it in the end.

I am so sorry for you. My husband and I went through a lot to get him here as well. Finally after being in AP for quite awhile his visa was granted and he will be here tomorrow. I am not saying this to make you feel worse, I am telling you this so you know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I had my days where I was so depressed I could barely function or get out of bed. This process really takes so much time and energy, and then to have something go wrong is devastating. I know what we went through wasn't a denial, but it was still long and difficult. If you need someone to talk to feel free to send me a private message. heart.gif

Sweetieone, I met my husband here in the US and lived with him too. I got married in Jamaica, I traveled every 3 months to see him while we were waiting out this process. I didn't file our petition until we had been married for six months.

If that sup is not avavilable than ask for another one, be firm but not rude. Remember every sup has a direct report aabove them, thefore if that person is not available than ask for the next person above.

Moving from Process to Progress.

The nice thing about time is that it passes. And, when you get to where you are meant to be, it will seem like no time at all.

Don't look at this as another day of waiting. It is actually another day closer. You are not mourning his death and the fact that you are never going to see him again. He is alive and well and you are going to be together. (F)

The waiting isn't easy. But definitely worth it. So often we get caught up in the hustle and bustle of doing the immigration process that we sometimes lose sight of the reason we are doing this all fiasco of immigration.

Hang in there. There will be a time when you will look back on this and say "Those tears I cried and the times we said goodbye are all worth it now because we never have to say goodbye again." You get to enjoy the rest of your life with your fiance/husband (sorry I'm not sure which one he is). Embrace the moments you do get to spend together now. You'll look back and say "Those 9-12 months we spent apart are NOTHING compared to the next 40-60 years together". You CAN do this. I didn't think I could. There was a span of probably 3 months I cried every night. But now that we have our interview scheduled and providing he's approved, he'll be POEing in 79 days makes it entirely worth it. It eases the pain a little bit seeing the end in sight.

Stay positive. Think positive.

My favorite quote that we can apply to this immigration thing is "Everything is ok in the end. If its NOT ok, its not the end".
