Very excited here.

I just received 2 e-mails from NVC. They provided the NVC case number, INN, the beneficiary ID number and the AOS bill. My husband is going to e-mail them the choice of agent letter that he constructed based on the template on VJ. In the meantime I will pay the AOS bill.

As I understand, there is no issue in paying the bill first and then e-mailing the choice of agent letter correct?

We are also not going to sent the DS3032 by regular mail, is that OK? In any case, I do have a letter signed by my husband in my hand, just in case we need it.

Just a quick question. I was just trying to log in to pay the AOS bill online but I can't log in and it says that I can't make a payment at this time. Should the NVC case number be entered in this format LLLXXXXXXXXXX, or are dashes required?

Your first example format is correct (LLLXXXXXXXXXX), do not use dashes when entering the case number. The payment portal may not be ready to accept payment yet, keep trying. You may have to allow a day or two before you will be able to pay the bill.

Ok. So I guess until the time the portal is ready to accept payments, it will not allow one to log in.

I sent my DS-3032 as soon as they had my case number. I didn't send the physical form, but I attached it to the email. It let me sign it electronically. They accepted in one week.

Yep, keep logging into the payment portal every day...though it does take them a few days from the time you get your case number and IIN into the payment system. In the mean time...have those packets ready to mail out so as soon as your status shows paid you print the cover sheet and mail those babies! Good luck :)

thanks. My husband e-mailed the Choice of Agent.. (DS-3032) using the e-mail template (just added the text into the body of the e-mail) but didn't attach the DS-3032 as you did. Hopefully, we will not have any problems.

I hated waiting for that! I swear I checked the payment portal every couple hours every day until it showed paid!
