Case # Missing from the November List from Mumbai Embassy

Hi,

Today I have checked the appointment schedule and came to know that my case # and day and date is missing from the November list. My case # comes under CR1 category and my interview is on November 26. So my question is " Will they update the list for November once again"?

I have the appointment letter's soft copy from NVC but I want to see my case # in the list as well so that I can get a sigh of relief.

mine is also nov-26 and its missing, nothing to worry, they have missed one page with 20-28 nov dates. should be updated soon

My interview date is 7th November and I can see my case number on the list.

I called India Help Desk, they said if you have interview letter (P4) you have nothing to worry about.

Based on your timeline, I can see that your medical is on 10/15/2012 so after medical please share your experience and specially the charges associated as the doctor from the Apollo Gleneagles hospital, kolkata told me that all total charges will be around R.4000/- (approx.) includes general testing which costs Rs.1400/- and three vaccination (based on my age 20+) costs near about Rs.2400/-. And after 2 days they will again do the final check up, write the report and handover the packet to me. Mine medical test is on first week of November.

Where is your medical examination center btw?

one of my frnd also has appointment on 26 nov.but his num is also not displayed,,

so just relax..and focus on interview...

I posted my question on MUmbai Consulate page regsrding missing Case numbers and date, they told me that they have posted all cases for which they have received file from NVC, so we all missing folks need to contact NVC and ask them when they are going to send our file to consulate.

following is the answer from consulate:

Dear Mr. Gupta:

Thank you for your question. We are happy to know that your petition for a CR-1 visa will be received by the U.S. Consulate General in Mumbai for consular processing.

When the priority dates of immigrant visa applications become current, the National Visa Center schedules immigrant visa appointments and sends the files to us for consular processing. At this time, we have received files only for those immigrant visa beneficiaries whose case numbers and appointment slots are listed on our website for November 2012. If you do not find your case number in the list at this time at http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/interview_appt_schedule.html, please review our website in early November for more updates. In the meantime, please make sure that you have all the documents ready for the interview. We wish you luck for your upcoming interview, and look forward to seeing you at the Consulate soon.

NVC is responsible for getting papers to Consulate... That it their responsibility.

Not to worry, you got the interview letter...

Do your medical and be there on time for your interview with all your supporting documents..

You will be fine...

My medical test scheduled on 16/10/2012 in Kolkata Apollo Hospital. they told me total cost will be around 3500/- apporx.
