an ER will take any patient with an acute condition and stabilize, when possible.

if you claim any different you are lying and not worthy of my time.

i suggest the caba or rub forums. they prefer to delve in fantasy there.

here on p&r, we prefer reality.

now here's a tissue, wipe that tear off your face. pathetic.

let me guess, medicaid? :rofl:

No!

And it's through my husband's work.

And thank goodness, as I've been diagnosed with a reproductive illness that's causing a whole boatload of other issues and if we didn't have the insurance, I'd never be able to pay for my ultrasounds or medications.

Emergency rooms serve as a place of last resort, but 45,000 Americans still die every year because they lack health insurance, or one every 12 minutes. Uninsured adults under age 65 are also at a 40 percent higher death risk. Hospitals may treat patients for emergency medical conditions regardless of legal status or ability to pay, but patients with chronic conditions that don’t require emergency interference are often unable to access needed care.<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); line-height: 19px; background-color: rgb(243, 249, 246); ">

There is no citation for this claim.. Where does the "1 person dies every 12 minutes because they do not have health insurance" come from?

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect
