Civil Surgeon appointment for my husband completed today. We just have to go back on Wednesday to get the TB test read.

Hoping to get the forms all sent out by Thursday.

We had our follow-up appointment with the civil surgeon yesterday afternoon. No problems, paperwork signed and sealed in envelope!

Over the past 2 weeks we have been working on rough drafts of all the forms and getting together all supporting evidence....so last night we filled out final versions of the forms, inserted supporting documentation and put together the I-130 package and the I-485 package.

Of course there are a few post-it flags where we need to include additional information, which I am working on today.

This evening, I will go through the instructions for each form with a fine tooth comb, just to make sure we are not missing anything and hopefully, everything will be sent out tomorrow. If not, forms will for sure be in the mail by Monday!

So ready to have everything sent out so that our free time no longer has to revolve around paperwork!

All of our paperwork was sent out yesterday! Now begins the waiting game!

Got our receipt notices for I-131, I-765 and I-485 dated 10/12/2012. Hopefully we will get our appointment notices soon. It is such a nerve racking wait!

Yea! You're on your way!

Saw on the USCIS website that my wife's AP and EAD have been approved! Hope mine is too considering that I am the primary applicant.

Great news! And so quick! I hope we experience EAD approval as quickly as you did!

The weird thing is that it shows my wife's being approved and card mailed but no movement on mine. I am the primarily applicant. I have no idea what's up with that!

Hi,

How long until we can check the online status? My receipt numbers are still shown as "not found" (I have MSC receipt numbers).

Hi There- same situation here. My husband has completed his biometrics and still our case numbers are not found on the USCIS website. I called USCIS on Thursday and the agent told me that more times than not, the cases do not make it into the online system. She said it's perfectly normal. Apparently they've been working to update their system for a year now and there hasn't been much progress/improvement.

Guess all we can do is be patient and go by the current processing times. If we don't hear anything within the normal processing times then we'll have to call again. She told me that they have 90 days to process EAD/AP, hopefully it doesn't actually take that long...

Congrats! Can you update your signature with a timeline so we can see how long your process took from filing to receiving AP/EAD combo? We filed on 9/28. My husband completed his biometrics on 10/30 and now we're waiting....... Praying & crossing fingers/toes to get his EAD/AP approved and received before Christmas so we can travel to visit his family for the holidays.... It seems like this went really fast for you!

I have not yet received my EAD/AP. My wife received hers last week even though I am the primary applicant. This is so weird. There has been no movement on my case. I do have my H1 so I don't know if that's why they are in no hurry. Hopefully we'll get our appointment letters for biometrics this week. It is a tad frustrating but I guess this is where patience comes in.
