My Husband has been unemployed for almost 3 years,2009 til 2011 he got his new job last march 2012, we're thinking about sending his 2008,2009,2010 ITR Transcripts since it was his only recent transcripts, and explain it on cover letter, do you think nvc will accept that and would not send us RFE? And i would like to ask what is the minimum household income for this year?

Sorry VJers if im posting so many questions almost everyday...but thank you..

have your husband file for the 2011 tax year ASAP (right now!)

and forget about tax year 2008. The most important tax year is 2011.

all other VJ members that know the facts will repeat what I just said.

but I was first! attention please! thank you.

You are going to need his 2011 ITR and W2s, if any. Also, his most current pay stub and letter from his employer. Maybe the employer letter can explain that his job is a "permanent" job, he is in good standing, and his current pay, weekly/monthly/etc... From what was stated in the OP's post this is probably the only information he can provide.

Best of luck!

Sid

The I-864 instructions (page 8) tell you what to do if a person was not required to file a tax return: If you were not required to file a Federal income tax return under U.S. tax law because your income was too low, attach a written explanation.

See the I-864P link in my signature below to find the income requirements.
