Interview today was pretty messy i think.....

waited for almost 2 hours....

My husband (citizen) was nervous and messed up some dates(dates that i went to school, dates of when i started working) he corrected some right way, but the IO said you seemed have problem memorized these.....

The other thing is, I forgot to write down that I worked at one place for 1 month on G325a. When the IO asked about my work experience, my husband mentioned that I worked there.....I then said, sorry I dont remember if I wrote it on the G325, but I did worked there for 1 month.

The IO didnt ask too much questions about our relationship, but she had asked a lot about my school in california before I met him......

We showed her pics, joint account everything she asked. But when she asked for my husband's (citizen) birth certificate to verify his parent's name, we dont have it......I thought we dont need it cuz he is citizen......she didnt ask us to submit it either....

In the end, she said she need to review it and gave us the paper basically says the decision will be made in 60 days.....but she finally had a little bit smile....

OMG, we are very sad and I dont know what to do now.... :crying:

I have read a lot post that some ppl get it in a few days but some gonna wait for a long time.... anyway, hope for the best....

You will be fine. I had my interview today too. Was about 20 minutes, he kept all the evidence( but didn't keep any pics) and at the end he told us that he will review our case and send a notice in the mail.

After 3 hours I got a text that my case was updated and when I checked it said like this "On October 10, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you" :)

Thank you all!!!

Do you think I need to prepare my husband (citizen)'s birth certificate just in case they will ask us to resubmit it? he was born in china.

Also, is it really a big thing that I missed one month work on G325a.... it's really not that i want to hide it... it's a legal work experience but i just totally forgot to put it on the G325a.......

I heard they might sometimes schedule second interview instead of make decision within 60 days???

feeling so hopeless now.....

Everything will be ok. Try to stay positive and in the mean time find your husbands birth certificate and put it in the file. And i think you guys should prepare for a second interview(hoping that she sees past the mishap and know it was because of nerves) just in case it comes to this. Which new york office did you go too?

I heard that federal plaza is the toughest out of all the NYC offices but lately i've been reading very positive reviews from that office. So i really do hope the IO was sensitive and kow that it was because of nerves you guys had a lil hiccup. If anything they will give you a chance to redeem yourself so try not to stress out too much about it. Mine is going to be on Long Island next week.

Taking the I-94 is a crapshoot; sometimes they will take it, sometimes they will just ask to see it and then give it back, and other times they won't ask to see it at all. I was not asked about mine whatsoever, although I had it there ready to show if requested.

they took mine, and I'd read that it's not uncommon for them to do this so I'm not surprised.

When I had my interview I was given a piece of paper that stated the following "Please inquire after 30 days. An adjudicative review is required of your case is needed, No additional required information is needed from you at this time." Did you received some documents from the IO stating what I mentioned above? You should probably do an info pass if you do not receive anything after the 60th day from your interview. I did an infopass after the 30th day and a few days later I got my Green Card. I would hang in there and just wait it out, I know how it feels, I felt sad and a little frustrated, but I eventually got it. BTW they did not take my I94.
