The DCF petitions are treated very differently. From all indications those of us residing in non-DCF countries are remaining at NBC to be processed.

Coalstly i recieved my hard copy noa2 but the case is not in nvc yet

I just received mine today, it'll take a few weeks to get to NVC. I read up on the basics, just so I know what to expect...blush.gif

Coltoasty....I did got a hold of an immigration representative today and she was nice enough to inform me that my case was transferred from NBC to Local Houston office on 12/18.....Im planning to make an InfoPass appointment just to check it out...what do you think worth a try or just leave it like that?

Darnell, hang in there bro, send in your RFE evidence, and you'll be approved soon too!

Rizvi, did you ask them which date they sent your file to the local office? It may have been there a while. Is your case visible online yet? Has it been updated recently in your case status account?

I scheduled 3 infopass appointments and cancelled each one, two because I didn't think it would help, and the last because it was a few days after I was approved. I would say unless you have a legitimate reason to argue for an expedite, it's a waste of time. YA1127 and I got approved the same date, she went to an infopass, and I didn't, we had nearly the same NOA1 date, again, made no difference. I contacted my congressman, and got a response almost a week after I was approved, made no difference.

If after 5 months after your NOA1 date you're not approved, that's when I would raise hell. Pre-schedule the Infopass appointment for March, you can always cancel it. Hopefully you won't need to make the appointment. Write to your congressman as well, start the process now, you can usually submit a form on his/her website. They'll send you a form allowing them access to your case, just fill it out and send it back.

Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case, including when the approval notice is mailed. If you do not receive the approval notice within 30 days, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance.

i got approved also.. oct 19 since the noa1 hard copy..HOUSTON is the local office but we are not sure if our papers was transfer to houston..

Well, I'm finished with the RFE pile. I've been stressed because of this, but had to focus during the day on my work stuff.

I'm showing up tomorrow to hand it in and talk with a human.

Won't be posting again till I get some status, whatever it is.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

hello guys..

NVC received my application feb 04,2013.and ive been calling them everyday :devil: ..but i always get an answer that it could take up to 10-20 business days for them to input it.today again ,i called NVC..and they finally input my info to their system..since feb 4 to feb 21 its been 13 working days.they already give me my case number :dance: ..so i followed Lingche nvc shortcut and my wife already emailed the ds 3032(choice of agent) to NVC.hopes everything will be fast..godbless us all.and more approvals to all of us..

Guess the florida and Miami people not having any luck this month :(

nope it sucks i don't get why Miami is taking so dammmm long just to approve me its killing me another week gone by and nothing still??! i guess the office was right when they told me that in march they will get to them i dont know why??!! :crying:
