sorry not so chatty recently. I got an RFE that was sent out on the 8th, I received on the 9th.

It's taken me some time to get over it. I was flummoxed..

Basically - they want to see other documentation to prove up that we have a bonifide relationship - so I'm prepping the big stack this weekend - gonna make dwheels stack pale in comparison.

That sucks but hopefully they will approve it fast once you send it in they did mine in like 3 days!

The DCF petitions are treated very differently. From all indications those of us residing in non-DCF countries are remaining at NBC to be processed.

Earlier today it was in post decision activity, now it jumped back to Initial Review?!?!?!?!

Initial Review

On February 13, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we certified our approval of this case and sent it to the appropriate appellate body for review. They will notify you directly when they make a final decision. If you move while this case is pending, follow the instructions provided in the notice and use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Don't worry about it saying initial review. They approved it... Says right there that they did.

Remember there are members on here who have their file still at initial review with all the initial review sayings (not like yours) and his wife is a citizen now.

It's approved. A friend of mine applied for his wife and the status online didn't changed from initial review, even after she was here....so yeah don't worry you're good. InshaAllah.

It seems to be a bug, sorry, I saw initial review and I freaked out, sigh, it would be nice if USCIS can figure out how to run a case status tool. UPS has been doing it for years, and it doesn't take 4 months for information to appear, and then a day later be incorrect! blink.gif

It's approved. A friend of mine applied for his wife and the status online didn't changed from initial review, even after she was here....so yeah don't worry you're good. InshaAllah.

After I got approved Dallas sent me a NOA2 and then about 10 days later I got a NOA2 from NBC. I wonder if they are going to inform NBC you are approved and then they update your file and send out the letter....

Wow... seems like such a waste of taxpayer dollars, it needs to be streamlined. One system, receives updates, and generates the e-notifications, and spawns the letter.

Forget the coloured button. What do you think this means? Just read the words. They approved you. Your case is probably being sent back to NBC who will mail you a notification and they will send it to the NVC.
