I think I am the one posting I have an interview date.

What do you mean by "standard criteria"... I absolutely have no issue, no criminal records, no visa issues, neither my wife does.

Exactly what I said:

An I-130 was primarily sent to a local office for beneficiaries who had a history of overstay or were in removal proceedings.

I look forward to hearing what they say!!

I think many here are making up things when they don't know... pretty discouraging... I told you guys I have no removal, no issues, nothing...

Probably just better to wait patiently than come here build doubts and get scared out ... :-(

It is probably just routine, I wouldn't worry about it. Maybe they want to know more about how you two met or how you acquired citizenship. Heck, maybe they even just do a certain number of random ones a month. If you are truthful and your relationship is legit, there is nothing to fear.

do your own research on i130 interviews prior to aug 15th if you dont believe me.

I believe myself that I am honest, with no issues and my marriage is true and I can't stand anymore waiting.

If they say anything else, I will pack and go to a place where I can live with my wife.

were you approved through NBC? did it say NBC on your approval notice?? I'm having the same problem, browsing thist forum to see who else is encountering the same problem as I am, mine was approved on the 18th of December and not and NVC yet I'm super worried

I got a NOA2 from Dallas and then another NOA2 from NBC a few days later and that was Dec 20th and they still don't have my case at the NVC

i got a letter last month that says last dec 26,2012 they send my approved I-130 to NVC. and no update yet As of now. Do you guys know how long it will take for any updates or the next step? TIA

For next round, you must use telephone, inquire at NVC if the casefile is ready to be processed. Do that every 2 or 3 days until the answer is yes. Whilst yer waiting, read all of post #1 over at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/406819-nvc-filers-january-2013/

See links there? Click through, read the content. Expect about 4 days for full assimilation. Make copious notes, pen to paper. Bug yer USCitizen Spouse a lot on the process ...

well for some reason they are way behind on receiving cases at the NVC cause I just hung up with them and they still have no record of my case and it has been at least 15 business days not including weekends and 3 holidays and she said to try back next Monday but that is a holiday too so irritating!!!!

hami-i have a theory- however malformed. Dallas may be only sending casefiles to MSC or NVC once a month, in batches, caused that's what they USED to do.
