The poster who referenced July 28 in Buffalo is looking at a chart that says that I-485s before that date are being processed in Buffalo. I-130s do not even show on the chart.

Ya, I thought that one data point to be specious. Sure, it came from a CSR to a petitioner, over the phone, but still.. ug ug ug and ug !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

The DCF petitions are treated very differently. From all indications those of us residing in non-DCF countries are remaining at NBC to be processed.

OK guys i don't know what to make of this but the receipt number after mine as been approve TODAY so i don't know if that's good or it doesn't matter. Just trying to look for some hope anywhere i can find it :unsure::blush::bonk:

How on earth did you get them to tell you the July 28 date for Buffalo? I just called the USCIS support line and talked to an ISO about my case that was transferred to the local office back on November 19, and she said that once the file is sent to the local office for processing, the support line can't see anything about it anymore. She told me that the local offices don't report their processing dates or times because their workloads and numbers of available personnel are so variable. I asked specifically for the last processed case date and she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. Of course nothing shows up when I check the estimated processing time chart for my local office (Houston).

Just FYI, when I called this week, my ISO asked me to hold while he contacted the local office for information. I was really surprised he offered to do that but he did. This might be how they got the information.

20-Sep-12 - Return to Philippines for visit/Medical/finish up i-130

Called today and spoke to another ISO and was told my file was transferred on November 27 to Tampa, Florida and that it was "Audited"?? on December 26. He was very nice and when learned of my wife's medical condition he said Sir, I am going to put in an expedite request on your behalf. Wow, what a difference you get from one call to another.

Another thing to make mention of is that if my file was really Audited on Dec 26, my last updated date on Case Status is still 12/12/12. This may mean Case Status still is not fully working.

20-Sep-12 - Return to Philippines for visit/Medical/finish up i-130

2-Oct-12 - I-130 Sent (Fedex)

Just FYI, when I called this week, my ISO asked me to hold while he contacted the local office for information. I was really surprised he offered to do that but he did. This might be how they got the information.

That's awesome, but it's disheartening to go from dealing with sometimes rude, non-informative, dismissive, hurrying ISOs to having one that will go that far to get information.

I just called and the lady hung up on me. It took alot out of me to not slam my phone on the floor !!!

That's awesome, but it's disheartening to go from dealing with sometimes rude, non-informative, dismissive, hurrying ISOs to having one that will go that far to get information.

What time of day did you call?

I was on hold for over an hour and they picked up at 8:02pm was on the phone until 8:35pm with them. I have had both rude and friendly. Last name was Felix of the ISO.

Me too, but who knows they may just be putting us all on hold and spinning a wheel for which bull ####### story is next to give to the caller.
