Be certain the petitioner preps another I-864 set, to submit into NVC.

NVC won't care that there's a I-864 in the casefile, as they don't open the I-130 to retrieve stuff, as a general rule.

it's okay. there's no rule against it. i like the october filer group. :D

We aren't your peer group, though.

Your peer group is the November fellas.

Also, you get no sense of 'whats up' with your casefile as you filed later than us.

I strongly suggest you join the November group and abandon the October group, nowish.

Congratsssss....was ur petition for K3 also approved?? mine is still in initial review, I guess filing for k3 wasn't that bad at all because I'm thinking it's somehow related and we weren't just fortunate, shortly after that status message we received our approval and the only people that got that message were the ones that had a pendin I-129F

Nope, no change on the I-129f petition. Our preference was for the I-130 to move forward more quickly, anyway.

We are expecting it to be cancelled at some point because of the (pleasantly) rapid progress of the I-130.

It would be excellent if my wife can enter into th US no later than very early May. This is starting to feel safely realistic now, which is a huge relief.

The little details:

  • ~15 October: Posted I-130 from Switzerland to Chicago Lockbox
  • 29 October: I-130 NOA1 with MSC receipt number
  • early November Posted I-129f from Switzerland to Texas Lockbox
  • 15 November I-129f NOA1 with MSC receipt number
  • 23 November I-130 "your Alien Registration Number was changed"
  • 15 December I-130 MSC# finally online, in "Initial Review"
  • 27 December I-130 NOA2

I agree, one day is not enough to stress on--November 1 is only 3% later than 31 October. B-)

And we like you too. :) Good luck!

I'm hoping to go home to my husband the latest by March for our 1st wedding anniversary, I'd probably shoot myself if it takes that long :(
