The DCF petitions are treated very differently. From all indications those of us residing in non-DCF countries are remaining at NBC to be processed.

just got our approvallllll, extremely happy...all the october filers yours is coming, have faithhhh

17-Dec-11 Met my wife for first time

24-Jul-12 - Married in Philippines, Honeymoon in Hong Kong

20-Sep-12 - Return to Philippines for visit/Medical/finish up i-130

2-Oct-12 - I-130 Sent (Fedex)

3-Oct-12 - Received at Phoenix Lockbox

09-Oct-12- NOA1 email/SMS : I-130 transferred to NBC

12-Dec-12 - File appeared in Case status

25-Dec-12 - Returned to Philippines for Christmas and New Years

4-Jan-13- Learned my file was transferred to local office on Nov 27

17-Jan-13- I-130 Approved

That's great, congrats! :thumbs: Our NOA1 date several days after yours...I really, really, really, really hope to hear something this week or so!

The little details:

  • ~15 October: Posted I-130 from Switzerland to Chicago Lockbox
  • 29 October: I-130 NOA1 with MSC receipt number
  • early November Posted I-129f from Switzerland to Texas Lockbox
  • 15 November I-129f NOA1 with MSC receipt number
  • 23 November I-130 "your Alien Registration Number was changed"
  • 15 December I-130 MSC# finally online, in "Initial Review"
  • 27 December I-130 NOA2

Gots me an infopass appointment for Thursday morning at local office in Irving, TX.

My main complaint - ####### is going on with my expedite request, submitted WITH the I-130 ?

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Well for me I know nothing will happen till 23-Jan as they set me up for interview... Grrrrrrrrr.... I hate them!

26-Sep-12 - Became US Citizen (I did wait for this to file I-130. I think I should have filed as LPR and upgrade my case later)

23-Jan-13 - NOA2 : Interview at field office - APPROVED same day!!!

05.Mar.13: NVC Received - Finally (USCIS made an error and set my file for Adjustment of Status. It took me energy to get it fixed!)

05.Mar.13: DS-3032 sent
07.Mar.13: AOS bill
07.Mar.13: AOS package sent
08.Mar.13: AOS bill shows PAID
14.Mar.13: DS-3032 accepted
