The DCF petitions are treated very differently. From all indications those of us residing in non-DCF countries are remaining at NBC to be processed.

10/02/2012 - I-130 sent USPS Priority to Phoenix Lockbox

On October 3, 2012, we received this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or contact our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

We have the same priority date and the same noa1 notice date .

What i can recommend to you is to go to nyc field office and ask lots of questions . I only know two people on this site that actually were approved from NYC field office and one of them is me and the other is coaltsy . We were approved around the same time / week . Go over there ask them whats going on ask Darnell to give you the right questions to ask when you go there .

Good luck with NYC office

Ps: as of august 2012 nyc has been getting the petittons so it may take them a while to approve it . Hang on to your faith and dont give up

La Donna - i think yer posting in the wrong place.

Yer timeline speaks of 'adjustment of status'

and this topic covers 'filing an I-130, to chase a spouse visa'

not the same thing, at all.

not the same thing? different process.

different process? different timelines, different processing centers.

different routings.

Atlanta Georgia is where I live never said my petition was her.I sent my petition to USCIS and then it was sent to NBC so now I don't know if its still there so Iv called my attorney to have him locate it.

you should chase that down on monday with USCIS, yerself.

call, ask for casefile status.

then when the CSR stops talking, ask to be transferred to an ISO,

then follow my list of questions for determining which local office it is.

[use the advance search tool, i write of this often]

LaDonna, we applied end of October for the I-130... Nothing still. Been to three info pass appointments in ATL and they're useless with information. A few Atlanta cases have been approved, but painfully slow. Yours is most likely in ATL as all Alabama and Georgia petitions were supposed to be transferred there.

Married: 9/24/2012
I-130 Priority Date: 10/24/2012
NOA1 Receipt Date: 10/25/2012
Transfer from NBC to local field office: 12/3/2012
Case Status online: 12/11/2012
NOA2: 7/3/2012

NVC Received: 8/5/2013

NVC Case Number: 8/12/2013

Is anyone In October still waiting? I have not heard anything since getting my first letter priority date 10/12/12.

yes i am still waiting, last time i heard on 12/12/12. filed my i-130 on 10/03/2012.
