Thank you! and yes hopefully before that, I was expecting that I would get an early June interview call as I'll be going late next month for a surprise visit.

Congrats! Approximately 3 weeks.

The DCF petitions are treated very differently. From all indications those of us residing in non-DCF countries are remaining at NBC to be processed.

Don't mean to be rude or anything but why would I call USCIS now if the case has been approved and transferred to NVC? Every case is different and not everybody necessarily needs a service request. Check with USCIS if you need to and verify if your case has been transferred as of yet, for further estimated time please go over this thread for clarification and an idea of a estimated arrival time. Good Luck!

did u call also the USCIS? wat did they told u? did u ask for a service request?

Guys,

So I am thinking about going to another info-pass to check on the status. I was there last Thursday and was told I can check back again within two weeks as the information will be pass to the adjudicator. So I have scheduled one on next Tuesday. My question is if anyone had gone through multiple info-pass appointment for a case follow and it actually worth it. Thanks!

Darnell- thanks again for the reply. I call my senator office and filled out the request form. So will see what happen next.....

not sure if there is anything else i can do.....

i have done multiple infopasses. The first one kick started a lot. I wrote about it in the 'about me' section of my profile.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

05/30/2013 - DS3032 & E-mail sent to remove Attorney and appoint petitioner as choice of Agent.
05/30/2013 - NVC accepted request and stated that further communication will now directed to petitioner.
06/04/2013 - AOS & IV bill e-mail received, generated and paid.
06/05/2013 - AOS & IV status paid.
06/05/2013 - AOS package sent
06/12/2013 - IV package sent
06/25/2013 - AOS Accepted
07/03/2013 - IV accepted
07/03/2013 - Case Complete
07/30/2013 - Interview Date received

09/30/2013 - Interview

09/30/2013 - Approved

10/02/2013 - Visa in hand

It says NBC on the letter, but I was told by the Tier 2 rep and from the info pass that the case is at Chicago office. Anyway, just got an email and the uscis site that the case is finally approved as of today!

Congratulations.... Was it at NBC or Local Office?

yes i did that.. and i got approved because of the infopass they are helpful if you talk to the right people good luck :thumbs:

I've been told to wait 30 days before the casefile hits NVC - my local office is Dallas.

Keep us informed if your casefile hits the door before 30 days, aye?

Don't forget - there is optional EP for Guangzhou-bound casefiles, shaves off some dead-zone time after NVC Doc intake is complete.
