The DCF petitions are treated very differently. From all indications those of us residing in non-DCF countries are remaining at NBC to be processed.

They keep telling me that dreadfull 20 days ####### lol

So i have to wait and see if they do it this week . The interviews for my country in april are out already so regardless i have to wait for May so i have a whole month to chill lol !

You know NVC tell u 20 days but it can happen at any time in reality

yea i know... it sucks :bonk: how did u find out that all the interviews for DR are booked?? i wanna know if i can do that for cuba too

Ooohhhh mmmmmgghhh my case was completed in NVC a total of 19 days in NVC not counting weekends !!!

And here i was talking ###### !!!! Lmaooo !!!

Am so happy now just waiting for my interview date to be set !

I-130 Petition for my father: Bad to good news - Here is my story:

As I have been waiting to hear back from my local office since the I-130 petition for my father was transfered to them, I received on 3/28/2013 a NOID (Notice of Intent to Deny). The notice states that a RFE was sent to me back in February 7 (requesting a my birth certificate). It seems like a copy of my birth certificate was lost somehow. Unfortunately, I did not receive any correspondence from the USCIS since the Notice of Action (I-797C) back in October 2012. After receiving the NOID, I did not waste any time. I was not going to mail a copy of birth certificate and I made appointment through the infopass to speak to the Immigration Officer. On April 2, I went to my local office along with the NOID letter that was sent to me. I brought the original and copy of my birth certificate. I gave the copy to the IO. She told me that it will take up to 30 days to hear from the USCIS. Oops!! Madam IO...Do you mean up to 2 days? I just checked the case online status this morning and it has been approved since yesterday.......Here is the message:

"On April 3, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at .........."

Now I am awaiting for the NVC process (Father)....Finally!

- 02/07/13: RFE Letter was mailed to me this date, requesting proof of father/son relationship. (Unfortunately, I DID NOT RECEIVE A RFE LETTER)

- 03/28/13: Received NOID (Notice of Intent to Deny)

- 04/02/13: Made appointment to speak with the IO at my local office.
- 04/03/13: APPROVED (NOA2 mailed)

NVC (Father)
- 04/12/13: NVC recvd file
- 04/22/13: NVC Case no.& IIN Assigned

- 04/26/13: AOS Bill Invoced & Paid /AOS Package Sent / DS-3032 Email-Format sent

- 05/08/13: DS-3032 Accepted & IV fee Billed & Invoice Paid.

- 06/27/13: IV package sent

- 07/23/13: Case complete

- 09/09/13: Interview Date

- 11/08/13: Visa Issued

Well USCIS just e-mail me back letting me know that my file is @ Jacksonville local office as of April 1,2013 .Damn it seems these people tell so many lies they get confused

how long did they take to give you a case complete once they got all your papers?

ohh ###### yea it does!! so nine days only good thing they are moving fast im getting all the IV package papers ready to send out. only thing is I have the police certificate but its not the original one its a copy..wat did u send with the iv package?? since cuba and DR are pretty alike
