I agree this is def not ez !!! No one ever said that this would be an ez task and its etter wedo it than leave it to a lawyer who coupd give 3 flying sh$ts about our cases !

When this is over we can definitly say we are certified to help anyone fill out forms , make calls etc... And maybe make some $$

My church wanted to charge me 150$ donation just to fill out the initial application and send it out lmaooo they wasnt even promising to help me through all this !!

I did call USCIS and the level 2 rep told me that the case hasn't been transferred yet, he put me on hold to open up a service request. I asked him how long it takes after the service request for the file to be transferred to NVC? i was told another 2-3 weeks!!! I'm really confused , last week i called USCIS and i was told that the case was transferred and give it about 15 "business "days but now this story? Not sure where to turn now as i've called both the USCIS and NVC without getting any satisfactory answer. Please advise.

Thanks

Lots of people have done this. Local offices seem to be sending petitions once a month in a batch. Some received cases are taking over a month to arrive at NVC. Can the US spouse call the USCIS and inquire if the case has been sent yet with a tier 2? If that doesn't work maybe an info pass to the local office to see if the file has physically left the building?

So USCIS has now told you that he case has not left the local office yet? Can you make an infopass at that office to find out if your case is still physically there?

You can turn to your congressional liaison and the ombudsman. They can help you figure out where the case is and get it to the right spot!

when i'm calling USCIS this week (3 times so far)

I am asking an ISO:

What date did the casefile leave the local office?

If they can't see it, it hasn't left.

If they can see it, it's left and will tell me.

Anyway, for me, they can't see it yet.

Wat a pox - the infopass officer back on the 25th said it was at the top of the pile, a big box, to go out to NVC.

eh, my problem, when i get an ISO, is that I have to answer the same questions.

New Day, New ISO, same questions to establish my identity.

I've been getting short about this, short-circuiting the ISO's blethering, and trying to throw my question in quickly.

I made 3 calls today, the first 2 ISOs told me that I was being rude and hung up on me. Is ok, I wasn't being NICE to them, but I wasn't cursing or name-calling or questioning their pronounciation skills.

Keep calling USCIS every day, complain. Contact your congressman, complain. Make an infopass and make a scene there in front of the I130 supervisor if they're saying it hasn't been shipped out yet.

Once they say it's been shipped out, start calling NVC AND USCIS to confirm until NVC says it's in the building, you'll get an NVC case# and IIN in about 3 weeks after that.
