well, let's see, aye?

I count 16 in our group, at http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=2&visa=3&scenter=4&option=3&sortby=2

that have not received the approval notice yet (or haven't bothered to log in again after getting the approval notice)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Most of the people still waiting have been active in the last few weeks. There was one from Jan and one from Feb that haven't revisited, but I would think the active ones would update :) There are still NBC people not approved from August as well. Hang in there! yes.gif

Quick question guys..... my NOA1 was approved on 03/07 and NVC hasn't received it yet I called them and they want me to scan NOA2 and email it to them. Has anyone done like this before and if yes how long it takes them to investigate and get back ?

Ok I rescheduled my infopass for this morning. What I found out was that there was an RFE sent to me on Dec 19th that I never received. The website never reflected that either.Good thing I have a folder at home with everything they are asking for.Too bad I was in a hurry when I left the house and did not think of carrying with me.The people at the jacksonville office were very helpful and fast too.Even the security guards were nice. I should have done the info pass earlier, even the ISO said that.So people get on out there and do it.You may be missing valuable info.

Good. Congratulations at least there is some movement with your case. I have been positing every day that people should take Infopass and visit local offices. Believe me it does help.

So do you have copy of RFE? did they gave you one?

Yes they gave me a copy of the RFE dated Dec 19th.Which puts it at exactly 1 month after the case was tranferred from MSC.I guess I was hearing so many stories of people getting being brushed off instead of looking at the stats of the Jacksonville office.Their stats seem like they do a pretty good job with approval turnaround

Lots of people have done this. Local offices seem to be sending petitions once a month in a batch. Some received cases are taking over a month to arrive at NVC. Can the US spouse call the USCIS and inquire if the case has been sent yet with a tier 2? If that doesn't work maybe an info pass to the local office to see if the file has physically left the building?

They said they didn't receive it at all? I would call USCIS and find out when it was shipped out, to make sure it isn't still at the Local office. I heard some offices do monthly batches.

I totally agreed with NikiR! (though I'm late to say this here)

I haven't received new numbers from NVC but I learned to be patient during the 5months wait till USCIS mail my huband NOA2 last week.

Guys, like NikiR said, first year of the married life is the toughest to literally be ready for being together with our partners till death do us part.

No matter how long it's been taking and how much it has given us headaches, it worth it. Those who have never gone through this path would never know how we've felt unappreciated in this tough situation like this but we'll be more appreciative and after this rough time, we'll value the time to get to be with our partners even more than any other couples who have never ever been far apart from their partners, bf/gf, etc. We are strong enough to get through this sh*t!! Sorry for my language at the end!!
