Hi guys just wanted to let you all know I arrived safely in the US yesterday and now I get to spend 2 weeks with my amazing fiance! Passing theough customs couldn't have been easier, i think I'm still in a state of shock! I had come armed with documents to show my intent to go home after my visit, I approached the guard who took my passport, he then asked me to put my hand on the scanner took my picture and stamped my passport! As he handed back my passport he asked why was I going to that particular town as there's nothing there and I said its where my fiance lives, he laughed and said he thought that was a good enough reason. He then asked me what food Scotland was famous for and this resulted in a 2 minute conversation about exactly what goes into haggis!! He then wished me a happy thanksgiving and a safe onward journey!! Can't believe I wasn't asked anything until after I had my passport back and then the 2 things he asks are a bit random! Not that I'm complaining.

That is so wonderful to hear!!!! It seems as long as you are honest they at worst, just remind you not to get married. As if a k1-er would chance messing up at the near end if the looooooong wait!!!

Thanks! I always find the first week back to be the hardest. Finding it especially rough with the festive season approaching :( This whole immigration thing takes a lot of inner strength.

Yes. I totally agree. Last year we were apart for Christmas & New Year. I knew we couldn't go through it again. He is coming for a 2 week visit in 15 days!! Can't wait. Hoping to get the NOA2 letter whilst he is here. Fingers crossed.

On this site, it looks as if Vermont is now processing June filers. We still have a few more weeks to go I think, good luck!

July 18th here too. Great to see lots of mid-June petitions being approved right now. Another Month or so to go hopefully!
