The waiting is a slow form of torture...! It really is quite upsetting to see CSC people blowing past us :( They really need to even it out a bit. For now...I will keep hoping and praying VSC speeds up! Here's hoping you hear something ASAP! In the meantime, feel free to hang out here where we plan to keep each other entertained and laughing for the coming months!

It surely a form of torture.....I work in retail so these next couple of months will be busy for me and will go by fast so we are going with that lol... hoping to get to see him Jan or Feb for 10 days... some days my heart aches bc we are apart but in the end it will be all worth it... Thank God for skype.... :jest: :jest:

Hello. :)

Just be more patient and keep on praying. My fiancé and I waited patiently and prayed hard and eventually got our NOA2 after exactly 6 months. It is worth the wait. :) For the mean time, just keep your relationship to grow stronger. And you may start on gathering some of the documents.. Like NBI clearance, birth certificate..

I wish for you the best of luck on your journey and a happy life together. God bless.. :)

]So excited to see this. Like everyone else, I'm happy for those at CSC getting their approvals but the wait in awful and It's hard to see that day and day out. We filed July 13 got our NOA 1 July 16 and here we wait. He visited me in July and has been gone since Aug3 and due to work and money chances are we won't see each other again until he comes for good. Praying VSC picks up the pace soon!

Hello All!

I thought it might be a good idea to start a separate thread for those of us who have their cases collecting dust at good old VSC. While I am tremendously pleased to see so many CSC people getting approved  knowing we still have MONTHS  to go made it hard to see every single day. :(

So....here is a space for us to wait it out together...talk about life, love, share recipes lol...WHATEVER we can do to keep our minds off of the months ahead!

I hope you will join me!! :)

Here's to VSC getting a serious move on things!!

All of our best, Denise & Andrew

Hi! I am july Filer too, and patiently waiting...Good luck to all of us!!!

This is a great topic! I hate going to the July filers thread and getting excited when i see approvals only to see its CSC. I thought all the Vermont July fliers were waiting for the CSC's to be done first before we start lamenting as well.

I love the t-shirt idea!

This wait is so much worse than when we'd wait between visits. We'd meet every 6 months and knowing that time period made it easier. Now its like, ok things should start moving in 6 months, but wait, you might get an RFE, and wait your file might be in some untouched pile of applications which they never get to, its so frustrating not knowing what the hell is happening when your application gets into the system.

NOA1: July 18th, 2012

Touched: July 23rd, 2012

No RFE! So Happy :)

NOA2: Jan 25th, 2013 (191 days)

Interview : 15th March 2013 APPROVED

Visa in Hand: 22nd March 2013

I am not a july filer but a september one but would love to come play 'i never' and knit with you guys while I wait too if thats ok!

I'll also start the recipe section - take 1 bottle of captain morgans

1 clean glass

3/4 ice cubes (any shape will do)

one bottle of Dr Pepper

place cubes into glass, pour over a double measure of the beautifully dark rum then cover with a little Dr Pepper add a straw and VOILA!

We recieved our NOA2 just yesterday. It took us 6 1/2 months! What a terrible feeling it is to have to sit and wait. My heart is with you! Idk why it takes VSC so long, but I definitely agree with the t-shirt idea! Lol!!Me and Mircea pass our time playing Facebook games. Ugh... I'm so sick of Facebook! I wish I had some better advice for you other than to just wait, but I don't. I guess that's all you can do. Try not to dwell too much on it. I guess that's my best advice. I know it's easier said than done though. It's all I can think about. And now we're waiting on the interview. It feels like a neverending wait, but I know this will be over in awhile. It's just very difficult. I feel your pain. Soon you'll have that approval though.
