follow the guides here.. they helped me alot.. there a dozens of examples/threads of any question you will have that arises..

just remember.. you are NOT the FIRST person to have to go through the K1 visa process.. and you WON'T be the last.. so just follow the path that was made from JOYS and TEARS of VJ'rs before you.. and you will be fine..

but ya just make sure you READ in DETAIL!!!!!

if you have the money to burn.. get a lawyer to fill in the blanks from the information you have to provide if you think that is best for you..

ps.. there is not check box.. that says.. if forms prepared by Lawyer or not.. so don't let them tell you.. their service will make process faster.

good luck to whatever path you choose

Thank You all once again for all of the replies. I haven't done enough research and this website is kind of dense, but my constant questions is so I don't make a mistake. If anyone can provide a link to examples of filled out forms like Evylin mentioned, I'd appreciate it. You can just Private Message me if its just repetitive info. you guys all already know. Thanks for any help.

are you logging in from a telephone?

Get to a PC, instead, nowish.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Page 3 of the I-129F instructions tells you that a G-325A is required for both you (the petitioner) and her (the beneficiary).

Refer to the K1 Guide here on VJ to familiarize yourselves with all the documents, etc.

So, with the help of this forum, I provided my longtime girlfriend with a decently detailed step-by-step explanation of how we are going to do this marriage-->resident--->citizen thing. I then get on the phone with her and she starts talking to me about a G-325A. Does she have to do that? If so, how soon and why wasn't it listed on the UStravel.gov website? Am I right in assuming that the first step is still my filling out the I-129f? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Please remember that VJ is a 'DIY' immigration web portal, with an emphasis on 'Y' and 'D'.

If'n you miss something basic, after reading instructions in a form, say like omitting 2 G-325As (one on you and one on her)
then it might make sense to either:

1. read the guide here on the K-1 visa, understand the flowchart, here at VJ, when logged in from a PC (handphones absolutely SUCK for VJ knowledge gathering) or
2. get a lawyer, never visit VJ again...

Good Luck, whichever path you choose.
