NVC TIMELINE?

Hi Guys,

I wanted to get a better idea of how long it's taking for files to reach NVC once they receive their NOA2? Any replies would be helpful!

USCIS

03/31/2012: I-129F sent to Dallas Lockbox

04/03/2012: I-129F recieved and sent to VSC

04/06/2012: NOA1 text/email.

04/09/2012: Touched.

04/12/2012: NOA1 hardcopy.

09/06/2012: Service request placed- They advised I should hear something by 9/21

09/17/2012: Received letter from USCIS just to be told i'm within' normal processing time bleh.

10/03/2012: NOA2 text received - Best part is it's our 2nd year anniversary!! Great Gift! :)

Sydney Consulate

10/21/2012: Packet 3 Received

11/30/2012: Sent packet 3

12/27/2012: Received packet 4 Interview date :)

01/22/2013: Medical completed

02/05/2013: Interview date status: APPROVED 306 Days!!

02/22/2013: Visa in Hand

02/24/2013: POE- Dallas, TX- then connecting flight home!

Total Time it took to complete our K1 process- 10 months and 3 weeks!!! INSANE! (325 days)

Start calling them now to get the syd case number...then as soon as u get it email im the number and he can book the medical ahead...then by the time he gets the pack 3 from sydney, he can send it all back the next day ..provided he has all the paperwork done. all Forms, Police check, birth certs, oh and your aft. of support package.

Or thats how im planning on doing it ..i have everything ready to send now except medical and aft. of support which my girl is sending asap. that way its a quick turn around for pack 4 and interview .....then on a plane lol

That's what I'm planning as well. I've called each day so far... impatient after waiting 7 months for that NoA2 :blush:

I've heard it takes a week, maybe week and a half to get the case number by calling. Don't know if it's true?

USCIS

Hi I am in the same situation as well. What did you ask exactly when you called NVC? We received NOV2 on Nov 14th and I called yesterday (Nov 28th) and they said they haven't received anything yet. :( I just gave her my EAC number.... thanks in advance.

did you called them to find out if they got your file or you just got a message??

You can call them and give your EAC receipt number to see if they have a case number.

Finally we all three together. We are happy :)

I received my NO2A on November 26 and I just called the NVC a few minutes ago. I gave them my EAC receipt number and they provided me with their NVC case number. So, it looks like my info was processed within 7 days (5 business days).

June 1, 2012 - I-129F package sent
June 8, 2012 - NOA1 email received
June 14, 2012 - NOA1 hard-copy received
Nov 26, 2012 - NOA2 email received
Nov 29, 2012 - NOA2 hard-copy received
Dec 3, 2012 - NVC case # received
Dec 12, 2012 - Consulate/packet 3 received
Jan 10, 2013 - Packet 4 received
Feb 4, 2013 - Medical exam
Feb 5, 2013 - Visa interview - pending RFE
Feb 19, 2013 - Visa interview - approved
Feb 25, 2013 - Visa received
March 2, 2013 - Gloria arrived in Philly
April 2, 2013 - Wedding

April 26, 2013 - AOS package sent (AOS, EAD, AP)

May 5, 2013 - NOA1 emails received for AOS, EAD, & AP

May 11, 2013 - NOA1 hard-copies received

June 5, 2013 - Biometrics

June 24, 2013 - EAD/AP approved

July 1, 2013 - EAD/AP combo card received

Sep 26, 2013 - AOS approved (no interview needed)

Oct 11, 2013 - Green card received!!!

Aug 10, 2015 - I-751 package sent

Aug 17, 2015 - NOA1 hard-copy received

Sep 16, 2015 - Biometrics

Dec 7, 2016 - I-751 Removal of Conditions approved (no interview needed)

Dec 22, 2016 - 10 year Green card received!!!

Aug 3,2024 - Form N-400 submitted/received online; Biometrics reuse

Interesting! My case got approved NOV 15, NVC finally got it on NOV29. Thats 10 working days. I got my case # NOV 30 in the form of an email... I sent an email to NVC around NOV 20 or so asking when it will be there etc.. lol so I guess my email helped since they replied? I REALLY want to leave NVC soon..

05/02/12 - I-129F sent

5/04/12 - I-129F NOA1

11/15/12 - Approved I-129F NOA2 (6.5 months!!)

11/29/12 - NVC Received

12/10/12 - USEM Case Received

12/12/12 - Packet 3

12/21/12 - Packet 4

1/16/13 - Medical Exam

1/17/13 - Interview- computers crashed.... or so they claim!

1/28/13 - New interview date- Admin. Processing

2/4/13 - Denial- No waiver can apply

July 14 2013 - Moved to Vienna with my dog and 3 suitcases!
