We have received our NOA2 a week ago. Thank God! :) We are now starting to gather the new documents needed for the interview. We would like to know to whom we should address the Letter of Intent to Marry (with the much closer date for the interview). Is it still the same with the previous one we submitted for the NOA1:

United States Department of Homeland Security

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

P.O. Box 660151

Dallas, TX 75266

Thank you so much to anyone who could help us on this. :)

Not sure if the address is really needed aside from it being just a formality. I plan on addressing our letters to the Embassy where the interview will take place.

Does it really matter who it's addressed to, or if there's even an address on it? I was under the assumption that as long as it has the petitioner/fiance's names and signed by both it would be ok.

Just a formality. Letters are addressed to someone or some place, and that is a basic component of writing a letter. It should be addressed to the embassy if that is who it is intended for.

Hey...it's for your sweetheart's big day...it's her visa interview day...and it's a big day for you too!

On such an important occasion I would think you would be aiming for better than just "ok."

Welcome to the forum. Please, if you can't find an answer to your question by using the Google search bar, consider opening your own topic, as it'll be easier for you and for us to help you.

If you are about to file, refer yourself to this guide http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide and see the example provided. The address is not important, what's important is that you address it to the right people.

The petition goes to USCIS, so you will address it to:

United StatesDepartment of Homeland Security

U.S.Citizenship and Immigration Services

The second letter of intent is to be presented at the Embassy where the beneficiary's interview will take place, so you'll address it to:

Embassy of the United States

Brussels, Belgium
