I have travelled to Canada a few times,I love Center Island, downtown Toronto & Queens Sts

My thoughts R , not much difference in the US, customer service in stores was somewhat lacking

even Holt Renfew, most Canadians R nice, lots dont like ppl from US, many never travel across

the border, How come that side of border is more respected than the other border....whats your

impression of countries you visited?

In my case, so far, these are the countries I traveled / stayed:

1. US - recently

2. Canada - been here twice; went to Downtown Toronto, Wonderland, Nigara Falls, Marina Park, CN Tower, enjoyed cruising, lots!

3. Singapore - been to Sentosa thru cable car, Universal Studio, Marina Bay, City wide, etc !

4. Soeul, Korea

5. Western Australia

6. Malaysia

7. India

I enjoyed and like them all -- each country has different experience. Yeah, majority of people in Canada are friendly - I noticed that too, of course there are also some nice ones in the US and other countries. I hope to travel more next year, hopefully Europe part! :)

Massachusetts - ok this was in the 1970's, maybe things have changed? Stopped for coffee and a muffin at a rest stop restaurant. Coffee in a ceramic cup on a saucer, muffin on saucer, butter on another saucer, butter knife on another saucer. The dish washer had job security! Went shopping with my relatives. Told them I needed to buy some blue jeans. I was told those are only for wearing in the garden (gaw-den) so then I went looking for a T-shirt that said something about Massachusetts, and all I could find were polo shirts! I haven't been back....so maybe it's different now.

Florida - beautiful climate in the winter. I would not do summer there. Lots of botanical gardens to visit, orchids everywhere.

Crescent City, California - the wettest cold climate I have ever been in. Redwood trees are amazing. The rocky coast is picture perfect, but dress warm. The wind is always blowing. I got lots of great pictures but I was always cold! Moss grows everywhere. Fog rolls in like fingers right over the tree tops and right over the roofs of the stores and engulfs you. A sunny day is a blessing. It was sunny the day my daughter got married...outside. The same day my husband got his Approval from the USCIS!

Kosovo - I have been there twice. Prishtina is busy, lots of traffic, coffee shops everywhere. I LOVE the coffee. Lots of places to shop. If you have feet over size 8 US you will NOT find shoes that fit there. Forget it! Albanian women are tiny. You young women walk everywhere in high heels. Lots of housewares are made in Turkey. Beautiful embroidered towels, decorative glassware, specialty cookware, etc. Lots of fake brand name clothing. I never saw so many different brands of yogurt and feta. The city is a bit shabby in places. I always felt safe. American flags fly next to Kosovo flags here and there all over the city. The traffic is crazy. There are few lights and maybe only 2 stop signs in all of Prishtina. Driving is like a controlled game of chicken, yet everyone is polite. Germija Park is in a valley between forested hills, very nice.

Massachusetts has changed since the 70s. Especially Boston since the big dig. It's a beautiful city with lots of green areas where the highways used to be. Come on back some time. You'll have no trouble finding blue jeans and t-shirts now!
