As I stated in my other post immigration will have a hard time in believing that this relationship is a true relationship due to the fact that a child was born in the middle of it and that child is not yours.

Therefore you'll are going to have to explain this to immigration, and they will investigate all that will be stated.

Being angry at us on VJ will not get you the desire results you want, but being truthful will.

Whoever is named as the father on the birth certificate is legally the father of the child. If a travel permit is needed for the child to leave the country, the notary will verify that the person is indeed the person named as the father of the child. If he is the person listed on the birth certificate, they will notarize it and that is all that needs to be presented to the DAS the day of departure.

Whether if putting the name of a different man as the father on the birth certificate is ethical or not, that's up to the person doing it to decide. It's a completely different issue.

In my experience, there is such a thing as the presumed father and the alleged father in the eyes of the court. The alleged father is whoever is listed on the birth certificate. It has not been proven yet. The presumed father (may not be listed on the birth certificate), but will stand up in court and claim that child as his own, or the mother and the father were married or cohabitating and the father is biologically able to conceive children. This is in the U.S.

I'm not sure how the legal system works in Columbia in regards to fathers, you may want to check with a reputable immigration attorney in Columbia regarding your case.

Read a review I think from Jamaica where the fiancee was very pregnant and consulate gave them a new interview date after baby would be born as they required DNA on baby.

If OP is planning to do a switcheroo Y come here? he already stated he dont want the baby around, now he's perpretrating a scheme to put his name on BC. Be aware

some USC can be charge with conspiracy to bring ppl in by fraudulent means ....do the right thing; report the rape to cover both you a$$es, let the mans family or hers

have the child Do not bring the child here then we hear about an accident or crib death

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Yes, we do. Why do you take the correct path, if this violation was reported to the police, ask the courts to intervine and give the mother full cutody rights. This way the father will have no legal or parental rights.

You are asking us how to help you to committe fraud.

As the OP has received the response to his question I am closing this thread. I hope that the OP realizes that Visa Journey members will not advise you to commit any sort of 'fraud' or misrepresentation and have given you good advice on how to handle this legally.
