Take the old passport to the interview, they will just give you a blue slip to bring an update passport back so they can imprint the visa in it.

Just a couple of days will be loss.

thanks for the good wishes. We are in Kingston....of course I cannot sleep (lol). Mr. and I prayed together tonight and we have peace and feel good about our chances.

Of course he did not make it in time yesterday to the passport office - arrived 10 min after closing so big points for effort. He did get the forms and all the certifications and take it back this morning. They agreed to expedite for the earliest possible time tomorrow 11:30 am (usually never ready until 2 pm) so our driver is taking the receipt, a letter from my Mr. giving permission for pickup and his ID (what they told him to have the driver bring). So our driver/friend is going to pick it up and bring it to the embassy around noon. Our time is 8:00 so it will be right around "window" time so I think we will be OK on that front. We will have the old passport and a copy of the receipt for the RENEWED ONE to show is the window interview comes before the passport is dropped off.

Mr. was finished at 11:00 and had a blue slip for the renewed passport. We asked for a same day window interview because we knew we would have the passport by noon. They set it for 1:30 and we waited a bit and then he took down the new passport with his blue slip and they said all was in order PAY DHL (the two words we were waiting to here).
